Call for New Short Term Scientific Missions (July-Sept)

Call for New Short Term Scientific Missions (July-Sept)

Hereby we invite you to apply until 10th of June (23.59 h CET) 2022, for a short term scientific mission. This is a funding possibility within the INDCOR Cost Action for a short research and network visit at a participating institution.

A STSM usually lasts between 5 and 21 days.
Before applying please contact your hosting institution about availability
Apply at COST e-services link.

Deadline: 10th of June (decision will be sent out in cca 20 days, so the STSM can be started from end of March. Mobility period must end September 30, 2022 (next round of application is expected for late summer/early autumn, call will be published in June). You can apply as an individual researcher

Please note that with the new regulations there are no fixed amounts for STSM and the board can approve the grant with a lower amount than requested. If you know already that you would like to participate in an STSM you can also apply now (this helps our planning, but results will be published in late June).

The mission has to show how it can contribute to the scientific scope of the Action and how it can enrich INDCOR’s overall research goals. In addition, it has a special focus on Early Career Researchers (they can stay longer) and emphasizes geographical inclusiveness.

When applying please include into your proposal:
–> What is the goal of your STSM visit: Novel networking opportunities or deepening previous research relationships in order to create new projects
–> How does the STSM profit the applicant?
–> How can the goal realistically be achieved in the given time frame?
–>How is the STSM visit useful for the INDCOR community?

PLEASE NOTE!

It is highly suggested that the output of an STSM is a (possibly open access) scientific publication.
Please keep us updated regarding the COVID-19 travel safety regulations, that are in place both in your and the host institution’s country of residence. Some institutions might not be able to issue letters of invite. Please note we cannot take into consideration those applicants’ proposal who cannot provide on request a letter of invitation issued by the host institution.
