We got it. The Policymakers Communication Team is ready

Now INDCOR has a team focused exclusively on relation with stakeholders. A new and independent section in collaboration with the Communication Team, which will be the liaison between the COST members, the INDCOR Core Group and the stakeholders who could be interested in some of the INDCOR deliverables.

At the same time, this Policymakers Communication Team (PCT) will develop an internal strategy to spread a “transference culture” among the INDCOR network.

WHO IS WHO

Marta Pérez-Escolar (picture, left) holds a PhD in Communication Sciences. She received the Civic Participation, Transparency and Good Governance PhD Extraordinary Award 2018 –granted by the Murcia Government (Spain)– for her doctoral thesis. She is currently an assistant professor at Loyola University (Sevilla, Spain), Her research focus on civic participation, political communication, public opinion and information disorders. Pérez-Escolar is author or co-author of multiple scientific papers and chapters related to disinformation, hate speech, fact-checking journalism, ideological polarization, and activism. –> martaperez AT uloyola DOT es

Dan Barnard (picture, center) is both a practitioner and a researcher and create interactive digital performance with a studio called Fast Familiar. He has been involved in forming and running various networks within the UK aimed at connecting practitioners, researchers and policy makers, including the Digital Performance Network. He has been involved with various consultations with funders and for some time was part of the What Next network which connected UK culture professionals with policy makers. At the university where he teaches (LSBU) he is a member of the Centre for the Study of the Networked Image which does various work connecting researchers, cultural organisations and policy makers. –> barnard2 AT lsbu DOT ac DOT uk

María del Mar Grandío-Pérez (picture, right) María del Mar Grandío (Ph.D, 2006) is Associated Professor at the University of Murcia (Spain).  Award for Knowledge Transfer 2017 (University of Murcia). Before INDCOR, she has been a member of the Management Committee of the COST ACTION, “Transforming Audiences, Transforming Societies” (2010-2014) and the COST ACTION “New Possibilities for print and digital media” (2012-2016). Her work has been published in international journals such as The International Journal of Audience Research or Media Studies and in editorials such as Routledge, Springer or Peter Lang. –> mgrandio AT um DOT es
