Malta Training School: Representing Complexity in Cultural Heritage

This first INDCOR Training School for doctoral students and post-doc researchers will contextualise the action’s work on IDNs as representations of complexity within cultural heritage, taking advantage of Malta’s rich cultural heritage as a tangible exemplar of the subject material.

“Interactive Digital Narratives as Representations of Complexity in Cultural Heritage” is the full name of this event, from 22 to September 25, 2021, at Saint Martin´s Institute of Higher Education.

The COST Action INDCOR is organising a training school for doctoral candidates and post-doc researchers to assist the action in upskilling the participants along the use of Interactive Digital Narratives to represent complex phenomena. This particular training school will focus on the complexity of uncertainty, using cultural heritage as application area. The event will take advantage of the rich cultural history of the Maltese islands to tangibly quantify the need, challenges and opportunities in using IDNs to represent complexity.

Due to the current pandemic situation, attendance is limited to 20 participants. Interested doctoral students or post-doc researchers are to contact the local host at their earliest convenience.
